Initial consultations last 30–45 minutes. Dr. Giardini sees every patient personally and will have reviewed all information and referrals you send ahead of your visit.

The appointment begins with a conversation about your child's history and your concerns. A physical examination follows, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and growth measurements.

Where clinically appropriate, Dr. Giardini will perform an ECG and echocardiogram during the same appointment and interprets both tests himself on the spot. By the end of your visit you will have a clear picture of what the tests showed.

Before you leave, Dr. Giardini will explain his findings in plain language and outline any next steps.
